Training by: Yanis Varoufakis (Former Greek Finance Minister and founder of DiEM25 – the Democracy in Europe Movement)

Yanis Varoufakis, former Greek Finance Minister and founder of the new Democracy in Europe Movement (DiEM25), eloquently criticizes the European monetary union as a misconception: Dispensing sovereignty to non-elected boards like the Eurogroup or Troikas poses a real threat to the wealth and security of the Eurozone and its sovereigns—the people(s). Whereas DiEM25 is raising awareness for the need to democratize these neo-feudal twilight zones throughout Europe, amazingly hardly anybody seems to address this development as a question of National/European Security—resulting in a number of close-to-failing states all over Europe.

Yanis Varoufakis will answer to DISCREET agents’ questions on finance and power via Skype, touching on topics like finance, sovereignty, games, and political decision-making.
