Performance by Megan Bernadette Mace, in English
Some clocks tick louder than others and some often fail to ever gain recognition in the landscape of the contemporary. There is always a clock that is fully functional. Fuelled by rigor but with no battery to power it. It is equipped with all the correct mechanisms and gears, yet it sits as an ornament on the wall or on the shelf in a shop—functionless. But when will that clock finally be powered, and what will the duration of its lifespan be, what will its tick sound like; its volume or speed? What what time will it be set to?
