What is Evil? by Sean Monahan

What is evil? Match the emerging identity with the corresponding archetype in Sean Monahan’s alignment chart. The alignment chart is a system for mapping moral attitudes. Law measures obedience to authority and tradition. Chaos prefers freedom and adaptability. Good and evil are self-explanatory…

When you strip away the spiritual and supernatural elements of evil, you find something that smells like politics but acts like branding. Cultural consumption and political identity are increasingly interchangeable, but are political consumers able to see this shift? Or is everyone flying blind, stuck in their own personal filter bubble?

New Scenario’s Body Holes

“If the body were a museum, there would be seven galleries.”

New Scenario is a platform for conceptual, time-based, and performative exhibition formats that take place outside the white walls of a gallery. Body Holes, the third and most elaborate exhibition project by New Scenario, explores the natural orifices of the human body as practical exhibition spaces for art. The show builds on macro shots of artworks by over forty international artists and artist groups, installed in the mouth, nose, ears, and more explicit areas.
